Moku is a privacy-first RSS/Atom reader for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. This policy explains what information the app stores and what the developer does not collect.

Summary

Moku does not collect, sell, share, track, or analyze your personal data. The app does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or a developer-operated backend service.

Your subscriptions, feed items, tags, filtering rules, reading state, and settings are stored on your devices. If you enable iCloud, they can sync through your own Apple iCloud Private Database. The developer cannot access your iCloud private database.

Data Stored On Your Devices

Moku stores the information needed to make the app work:

This data is stored locally on your device and, when iCloud sync is available, in your own iCloud Private Database.

iCloud Sync

Moku uses Apple iCloud to sync your app data across your devices. iCloud sync is provided by Apple and is subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policies. Moku does not run a separate sync server and the developer cannot read your private iCloud data.

If iCloud is unavailable, Moku can continue to work with local storage on the current device.

Network Requests

When you add or refresh a feed, Moku connects to the RSS/Atom URL or RSSHub instance that you chose. Those websites or services may receive normal network information such as your IP address, request time, and user agent, according to their own privacy policies.

Moku does not send your feed list or reading history to the developer.

Notifications

Moku can send local notifications for new content if you grant notification permission. Notification preferences are stored on your device. Moku does not use push notification tracking or a developer-operated push service.

Data Deletion

You can delete subscriptions, feed items, rules, and settings inside the app. You can also remove the app and its local data from your device. If you use iCloud sync, synced app data may also be managed from Apple iCloud settings according to Apple’s platform behavior.

Children

Moku is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

This policy may be updated when Moku changes its functionality or platform requirements. The updated policy will be published at the same privacy policy URL.

iCloud 同步

Moku 使用 Apple iCloud 在你的设备之间同步 App 数据。iCloud 同步由 Apple 提供，并受 Apple 的条款和隐私政策约束。Moku 不运行单独的同步服务器，开发者也无法读取你的 iCloud 私有数据。

如果 iCloud 不可用，Moku 仍可在当前设备上以本地存储方式继续使用。

网络请求

当你添加或刷新订阅源时，Moku 会连接到你选择的 RSS/Atom URL 或 RSSHub 实例。对应网站或服务可能会按照自己的隐私政策接收到常规网络信息，例如 IP 地址、请求时间和 user agent。

Moku 不会把你的订阅列表或阅读记录发送给开发者。

通知

如果你授予通知权限，Moku 可以为新内容发送本地通知。通知偏好保存在你的设备上。Moku 不使用推送通知追踪，也不运行开发者自己的推送服务。

无追踪、无广告

Moku 不会：

数据删除

你可以在 App 内删除订阅源、条目、规则和设置。你也可以从设备中移除 App 及其本地数据。如果你使用 iCloud 同步，已同步的 App 数据也可根据 Apple 平台行为在 iCloud 设置中管理。

儿童

Moku 并非专门面向儿童，也不会有意收集儿童的个人信息。

变更

当 Moku 功能或平台要求发生变化时，本政策可能会更新。更新后的政策会发布在同一个隐私政策 URL。
